Welcome to Civic Liturgy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Civic Liturgy website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Civic Liturgy ("we," "us," "our," or the "Platform"). Please read these Terms carefully before creating an account or using the Services. By creating an account, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

Agreement Required

By creating an account, clicking "I Agree," or otherwise accessing the Services, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Civic Liturgy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the Services.

1. eligibility and account registration.

1.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to create an account or use the Services. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

1.2 Invite-Only Access

The Platform operates on an invite-only basis. Access is granted at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to decline, revoke, or restrict access to any individual or organization at any time, with or without cause.

1.3 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you.

1.4 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. Providing false or misleading information is grounds for immediate account termination.

2. description of services.

Civic Liturgy is a community intelligence platform that analyzes publicly available information related to municipal governance and religious discourse in the State of Arkansas. The Services include:

  • AI-assisted analysis of publicly recorded municipal meetings, agendas, and government proceedings
  • AI-assisted analysis of publicly delivered sermons, homilies, and religious commentary
  • Legislative tracking and analysis using publicly available legislative data
  • Dashboards, reports, and scoring frameworks (including MDAF, AIF, MFT, CPI, and others)
  • Research tools and longitudinal tracking of governance and civic engagement patterns

2.1 Access Tiers

The Services are provided through tiered access levels (Free, Community Member, Researcher, and System Admin), each of which grants different levels of access to features, data, and analytical tools. Tier availability, features, and any associated costs are subject to change at our discretion with reasonable notice to affected users.

2.2 AI-Generated Analysis

All analyses, scores, and reports generated by the Platform are produced using artificial intelligence and automated analytical frameworks. These outputs represent structured algorithmic assessments and should be understood as analytical observations, not definitive judgments, legal opinions, or statements of fact. See Section 9 (Disclaimers) for further detail.

3. acceptable use.

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes consistent with civic engagement, research, journalism, education, and public accountability. You agree not to:

  • Use the Services to harass, threaten, intimidate, or incite violence against any individual or group
  • Use data obtained from the Platform to stalk, dox, or target any individual in their private capacity
  • Misrepresent Platform analyses as official government assessments, court findings, or legally binding determinations
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary analytical frameworks, prompts, or source code
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract data from the Platform without our express written permission
  • Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized individuals to access the Services through your account
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute any malicious code, viruses, or harmful materials
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or related systems
  • Use the Services in any manner that violates applicable local, state, federal, or international law

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination, at our sole discretion.

5. user content and feedback.

If you submit any content, suggestions, ideas, feedback, or other materials to us (collectively, "User Submissions"), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute such User Submissions for any purpose related to improving and operating the Services. You represent that you have the right to make such submissions and that they do not infringe on any third party's rights.

6. privacy and data protection.

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By agreeing to these Terms, you also consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

Access to certain tiers or features of the Services may require payment of fees. If applicable:

  • Fees will be clearly disclosed before you are required to pay
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law
  • We reserve the right to change fees upon thirty (30) days' notice to affected users
  • Payment processing is handled by third-party providers and is subject to their terms of service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for non-payment of applicable fees.

9. disclaimers.

Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal advice, political endorsement, religious guidance, financial advice, or professional consultation of any kind. You should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.

9.2 AI Limitations

Analyses generated by the Platform are produced by artificial intelligence systems and are subject to inherent limitations including but not limited to: transcription errors, misattribution of speaker statements, contextual gaps, and algorithmic bias. Scores and ratings represent structured observations based on the text content analyzed and should not be interpreted as absolute or definitive assessments of individuals, organizations, or institutions.

9.3 "As Is" Provision

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND TITLE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

The arbitration shall take place in Benton County, Arkansas. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

15.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDING WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Civic Liturgy.
